purple frog plush pacifier

purple frog plush pacifier.jpg Isn't this adorable? The nice people at Baby Dagny sent me this pacifier. I passed it on to my adorable nephew, Jake, to see if he would like it. The verdict is in! He loves it!

A Soothie pacifier is brilliantly sewn into the stuffed animal body of a purple frog, making it easy for baby to hold and hug. The Frog really helps keep pacifiers off the ground and in the baby's mouth. This Purple Frog Pacifier design is only available at www.BabyDagny.com

time out animals

terrier_2006_Jaag_Catalog_117_1_-242x294.jpg

This is one of those, "Why didn't I think of that?" ideas! That's exactly what I thought when I opened the box and found this adorable puppy inside.

This "Time Out Animal" was designed by a father-son team and is great to use for all sorts of things. The 10 inch animal (choose from several different types) has a special built in timer. Use the timer for your child's time-outs, to set computer time limits, to remind your child when to stop playing and get ready for bed....The possibilities are endless. And it is so much cuter than just a regular kitchen timer.

The time out animals ($24.99) have been a big hit with mothers, grandmothers, and most recently teachers, who use it in their classrooms.

www.timeoutmom.com is also a resource of information for moms and provides information about local parenting conference and family events. You really need to check this site out. It's wonderful!

And our nice friends at www.timeoutmom.com (which is a mother-owned business) will give you $5 off your Time Out Animal purchase. Just enter in the coupon code The Everyday Mom.

bear in a box

erteestate_1928_23538360.gif

Do your kids beg you to take them to the popular Build-a-Bear Workshop? My younger ones love that store, but I think it is so expensive and to schlep them to the mall isn't always feasible. Recently, the nice people at www.teddybearinabox.com sent me a nice alternative to this store and it can be put together in the comfort of your own home.

I received a really cute box, that can be turned into a bear chair. Inside it was a REALLY soft teddy bear, lots of stuffing for him, and a birth certificate. The animals go from unstuffed to stuffed in three easy steps – Stuff, Zip, then Velcro – meaning kids as young as three can make the furry friends.

I asked Jackson (age 8) to help me put our new bear together. He is an expert on their competition and I thought he could give a fair review. Let me tell you - he LOVED it! And he is already searching their site on line for more bears and accessories.

The company offers 15 varieties to choose from and they only cost $14.50 each! There are also clothing and accessory options -including a very cute ‘Be Mine’ Bunny for Valentine’s Day. Wouldn't that be a great Valentines Day activity to do with your kids?

This would be a great idea for a birthday party, too! In fact, they even offer Bear party packages.

Check out this site and if you enter the code "Everydaymom" in the discount box they will give you 5% off your total order!

sofia bean

New-C45-2-Text.gif Have you started Christmas shopping? If you have babies or children on your list, you will definitely want to check this company out! They sent me their new Baby gift box to review and I have to tell you it is so adorable. The set comes with a baby t-shirt, hat, pants and a sibling t-shirt too! What a deal! I just love the idea of incorporating a sibling gift with a new baby gift.

And then, if that's not enough to make you giddy with excitement, the packaging for this set is so original and so cute! I get just as excited about packaging as I do about actual products. So I knew as soon as this product arrived in the big colorful box, it would be great. Seriously, this box could be a gift all by itself.

T-Shirts-Text.gif My daughter Lily loves her puppy shirt and has worn it for 3 days straight. It was the first thing she requested every morning. The shirts are baby soft and the designs are quite fashionable.

Remember Sofia Bean for Christmas or New Baby gifts. Your friends and family will love it. Or buy it for your own little ones!

One more thing. The nice people at Sofia Bean want to give you a discount too! Just enter in the code EM15 when you place your order and you can get 15% off one order.

promom couture

Pink_Pink_sm.gifSome of you might remember my Happy Mom blog. It was inspired by a cute pink t-shirt I received for Mother's Day from Promom Couture. Recently they just sent me a few of their new t-shirts to review and I have to say they are just as cute! Not to mention a bit sassy.  I just love this company and the comfortable clothes they are providing for moms everywhere! RocknRule_bb_sm.gif

Their philosophy is we should "celebrate motherhood with style." I couldn't agree more.

You definitely need to check out Promom Couture. If you mention you heard about them from The Everyday Mom, they'll even give you 15% off your order! Christmas is just around the corner. Why not buy one for yourself or a friend and celebrate being a mom!

mango ink cards

mangofruit.jpg

"Your words. Your photos. Your personality. Your cards. We just add the mango juice to sweeten it up."

candycanesquarelarge.jpgThis has to be the cutest on-line card shop ever! They were kind enough to send me some samples and I was so impressed with both the creativity and the quality. You have to check out their site and see some of their work. Don't think this is your normal, everyday traditional photo card. It comes printed on REAL photographic paper in a matte finish and then they are professionally hand mounted onto quality heavy card stock. These are NOT printed on a home ink jet printer. VERY professional. VERY artistic. They also have cards and notes for every occasion imaginable!

happytreesmall.jpgChristmas is right around the corner. Mango Ink's Christmas cards are so hip and original.

Take a moment and check them out. They have 2 sales going on right now too!
You won't be disappointed!

lights of the prairie

lights of the prairie.jpgCheck out this company! Lights of the Prairie is a South Dakota based company started by a Mother/Daughter team. They only use quality ingredients and hand pour each candle. You would not believe how many scents are available either! It tried the Harvest candle and loved it! It reminds me of fall and the holidays.

They also have lots of other soy-based products. The lip balm is great and goes on so smooth and creamy. Plus the flavor is Vanilla Latte- gotta love that!

Another product that I like- especially during the colder months is the Mint Sole Soother. It's a lotion bar and you can rub it on your heels, slip on some socks and your feet get an extra special softening. Try it and pamper yourself!

Go to www.thelightsoftheprairie.com and see what they are all about. The prices are already really reasonable, but if you write the word Everyday Mom in the message box when you check out they will take off another 20%!

mommy track'd

mail.jpgI love this company. The mission of Mommy Track'd is to provide a helpful and entertaining resource for all the time-crunched moms managing the daily tug of war between work and family. We all know how it is- balancing things can be really tough, whether you work outside the home or not.

Mommy Track'd provides tips from real moms, articles, message boards, and a great selection of notepads to help us make it through a week.

eatsheet.jpgFor months I had been ripping out notebook paper, hunting down scraps of paper, using the backs of envelopes to write my grocery list and weekly menu. It was just a mess. Well, Mommy Track'd has created an adorable solution to help Moms organize all this. It is called the Eat Sheet. On one side there is space for your weekly menu and the other side has room for your grocery list. Everything can be in one place. Brilliant!

Hop on over to the website: www.mommytrackd.com and check it out. She has other notepads, too. And guess what? If you use the code EVERYDAY when you check out she will give you 10% off your entire order!
