in case you were wondering.....

...it IS humanly possible for a seventh grade boy to use his cellphone to text 9423 messages in ONE month.

We owe a debt of gratitude to the kind Verizon employee who understood our pain and reversed the charges so our bill will now reflect the unlimited texting plan. If I was going to have more children, I would name my next born child after her. God bless her.

This just makes me LOL. I once had a child in Texas who did the same thing. It was amazing to me how she could help manage a campus of 700 kids, but couldn't keep tabs on her minutes. OUCH! The precious girl that worked with her was using a TM phone and lost count as she was chatting with her boyfriend in another state (obviously not an intern) and rang up a huge bill for TM. I think she needs to name her firstborn after Mr. Hasz.

Holy Smokes!!! God bless her for being willing to do that. My parents encountered the same wiht me when I was about 12 ... I was making long distance phone calls without their knowledge and had quite a phone bill!

Wow! Bo is sure the socializer! : )

Verizon is on my very short list of ultimate enemies (a blog in and of itself) . . . but boy were they ever good to you. Bless that woman—she must have kids! : )

Wow! And my husband makes fun of me for sending around 500 a month! :)
Most of mine say something like "Hey, can you send me my photocopies?" (to the school secretary!) ;)

So is his cell phone constantly glued to his hand?

So glad they took care of that for you!

Unbelievable. I wouldn't have ever believed it possible to send that many texts in a month unless that was ALL you did. Does he have callouses on his fingers from all that typing???

whoa. that will go down in your family history as one of "those" moments. one of the ones you never forget. one that... eventually.... you'll laugh about! wow. that's intense!

i have to say, that though i text a little... texting makes me feel old. and i'm only 30!! the generation behind us is sooo into it and does it all the time. i was having a conversation with my nurse the other day at the OB and she pulled out her phone to look at it and text... i was like- um... just b/c you aren't talking on the phone doesn't make it less rude. sheesh! am i out of touch?
humph.
